Lincoln, NE
MAKE fans, We would like to introduce you to the World Energy Project. The World Energy Project was started by a group of zealous University of Nebraska - Lincoln students in 2010. The group is a non-profit whose aim is to work with "communities around the world to develop sustainable energy solutions." In their first year of existence they successfully raised enough money to travel to Mali and install a solar panel array for an irrigation system.
Over the past few months, MAKE Collaboration has been working with WEP to create a new identity for their organization. They have begun to grow and be publicized for their exciting work in Africa. The brand is intended to identify their intentional outward growth and offset from an original project yet be an understated symbol for who and what they want to be as an organization. Their work begins to inspire other communities nearby to want to do better for themselves which has already happened in the Mali project.
Please, Support the World Energy Project!
Tomorrow (Wednesday, December, 7th) WEP is hosting a fundraiser in Lincoln at Noodles and Company on 14th and 'P'. From 4pm-
